I was speaking with a friend yesterday and the conversation about costumes we had as children came up.
In this I mentioned that the costume I hated most as a kid was when my mother dressed me like a little girl rather than letting me get a Spiderman costume. I hated it. The next year I went as Captain Kirk with a toy Star Trek utility belt and used my Star Trek walkie-talkie's to discuss trick-or-treat strategies with my best friend at the time. [This was one of my favorites. (Though my Hong Kong Phooey Ben Cooper costume has to be a close second.)]
My friend said that his mother once cut holes in a pillow case and made him go as a pillow [his least favorite] and that the next year he saved up and bought a boxed Ben Cooper Incredible Hulk costume at K-mart which he still owns today [his favorite.]
As I now try to make sure my kids have costumes they actually like every year, I got to wondering what other people's experiences are in this.
To that end, what are your favorite and least favorite Halloween costumes? [The rules for this are simple:
1. They should be costumes you have worn.
2. If you do not have a least favorite you can just tell me your favorite.
